Almost Like a Dance is an unlikely romantic musical comedy based on Sandy's play, Houston. (New American Musical Award). When two families - one Jewish, one Muslim - worlds apart in culture and power, are united by neighboring hospital rooms, their children find connection, joy, and love in the unlikeliest place, transforming a season of fear into a musical testament to shared humanity.

Developed in collaboration with Two River Theatre and The Texas Performing Arts Center, with music by Grammy winner Edie Brickell and her bandmates, C.J. Camerieri and Trever Hagen, Almost Like a Dance will be directed and choreographed by the award winning Josh Rhodes. Details to come.
