STRUCK

Vera Resnick was struck by a bicycle in the East Village. Now she feels a strange and out-of-character connection to the college-aged biker who hit her. Was the collision just coincidence or did larger forces bring them together? Vera, her husband, Nate, and their hippy-chic-Texan neighbor, seek truth in the face of deception in this surprisingly and soulful serio-comedy that explores fate, family and identity.

Struck is a contemporary dark comedy about a Jewish couple on the Upper West Side who face an unlikely and terrifying guest. The play premiered at NJ REP and ran at Theatre Raleigh. The NY Times said it played like a “charming” “television sitcom.”

"A comedy that succeeds!"
